「ポスト ポスト ポスト リターン イン ジ エイジ」乱立する美術界のカテゴリーと若手作家による新しい形の提示

【概要】

石塚嘉宏と村田啓による「ポストポストポストリターンインジエイジ」を(2018年8月5日（日）から2018年8月19日（日）まで東京都品川区鮫洲のARTnSHELTERで)開催します。

 

石塚はこれまで、物質とそれにかかる実際的なエネルギーを支点として、ものの状態に対する場と視線との関係を模索してきました。

物質の過程をそれぞれの歴史として置き換えて、現在のオブジェクトを分解、積み重ね、集積することで、存在の認識にアプローチしてきました。

 

村田は、ユースカルチャーや音楽、寓話、MV的な編集方法への興味を基にした映像作品を制作してきました。

その映像では、イメージのささくれを繋ぎ合わせるような所作によって、対象となっている状況を誇張し、過度なロマンやエモーション、ユーモアを生み出しています。

 

「ポストポストポストリターンインジエイジ」は、作家それぞれが問題としていた事柄、つまり本質でないもの、抽象でないもの、表面を覆い尽くしているいくつものイメージ、触った時の微かな質感、置いたときの空間の歪み、これらのいくつかの焦点から物体やイメージの状態を新たに作り出す試みです。

[Description]

“Post Post Post Return in the Age” will be exhibited at ARTnSHELTER from August 5th - 19th, 2018, by Yoshihiro Ishitsuka and Kei Murata.

 

Yoshihiro Ishitsuka has been experimentally exploring synergetic connections between objects and the energy of their surroundings.

His process of showing the connections crosses over the concepts of time and space. By displaying different perspectives of these connections he questions the meaning of "existence" from both humans' and objects' perspectives.

 

Kei Murata creates video artworks based on his interests in youth culture such as music, music videos and allegory literature and imagery. By splicing motion images, he exaggerates their humor, romance and emotion, reframing how they are perceived.

 

They attempt to represent the objects physical presence in relation to how it is perceived.
