We will open Yado Shiontei to provide the best service and hospitality beyond your imagination by limiting the number of guest rooms to 10 while preserving the traditions of this historic area. 多数の人気旅館を手掛けた建築家松葉啓が代表を務める株式会社アーキクト・ケイ(東京都)が設計・監理を担当。数々の作庭展で受賞歴がある造園職人坂本利男が代表を務める有限会社坂本造園(山口県)が庭園を担います。

Architect Kay Co., Ltd. (Tokyo), which is represented by architect Hiroshi Matsuba, who has worked on many popular inns, is in charge of design and supervision. Sakamoto Landscaping Co., Ltd. (Yamaguchi Prefecture), represented by Toshio Sakamoto, a landscaping craftsman who has won numerous award-winning garden exhibitions, is in charge of the garden.

最上級の貴賓室（2室）は専有面積150平米を誇り、露天風呂と内風呂や美しいお庭を備えた居心地のよい贅沢なお部屋に仕上げました。専有面積100平米のスイートルーム（8室）には、半露天風呂を備え、それぞれの客室でスタイルを創造しております。館内すべてのお風呂に美容効果の高い泉質で知られる皆生温泉の「美人の湯」を存分にご堪能いただけます。また貸切風呂を併設したスパラウンジを設け、心ゆくまでゆったりとしたプライベートな時間をお過ごしいただけます。

The two highest class guest rooms boast an exclusive area of 150 square meters and are cozy and luxurious rooms with an indoor bath, outdoor bath, and a beautiful garden. The 8 luxury suites have a half-open-air bath, create their own style. All of the baths in the hotel are equipped with the "beauty hot water" of Kaike Onsen, a hot spring known for its beauty benefits. In addition, we have a spa lounge with a private bath, where you can relax and enjoy your private time to your heart's content.

やど紫苑亭では地元の食文化を存分に発信する為に、数々の高級旅館で総料理長を務めた実績を持つ大石昌彦氏を招き、和食を中心に四季折々の自然の美しさや季節のうつろいを表現したお料理で山・海の自然の恵みをご堪能いただだきます。
使用する食材は地域の優秀な農業生産者と契約して安全で高品質な野菜や果物を調達する仕組みづくりを進めております。全国和牛能力共進会で肉質日本一に輝いた鳥取和牛オレイン55や、厳しい基準をクリアして選ばれた最高級ズワイガニの五輝星（いつきぼし）などをご堪能頂けます。
ダイニングには5つの個室の他、2組限りの鉄板焼き、新鮮な食材と職人の技をご覧いただきながら料理人との会話を楽しむことができるカウンターを配しております。

Yado Shiontei’s Chef Masahiko Oishi, who has served as executive chef at a number of high-class ryokans, to present the local food culture to the fullest extent, so that you can enjoy the natural blessing of the mountains and the sea through dishes that express the beauty of nature and the change of the seasons, with a focus on Japanese cuisine. The ingredients we use are contracted with excellent local agricultural producers to create a system to procure safe and high-quality vegetables and fruits. You can enjoy Tottori wagyu Olein 55, which was awarded Japan's highest award for meat quality at the National Wagyu Beef Exporters Association, as well as the top-quality snow crab, "Ikiboshi", which was selected after clearing strict standards. The dining room has five private dining rooms and a counter where you can enjoy conversation with the chef while observing the fresh ingredients and craftsmanship of the two pairs of teppanyaki.

ダイニングには常時300本ストックできるワインセラーを設置。日本ソムリエ協会認定マスターソムリエの的場勝氏が、やど紫苑亭のために世界のワイナリーから特別にセレクションしたワインをお楽しみ頂けます。

The dining room is equipped with a wine cellar that can stock up to 300 bottles. Mr. Masaru Matoba, a certified master sommelier of the Japan Sommelier Association, has specially selected wines from wineries around the world for Yado Shiontei to enjoy.

【水盤に浮かぶ茶室】

The tea room floating on the water

館内の中庭には水盤の上に浮かんでいるような茶室を設えます。茶室では裏千家淡交会および青年部の茶道家が日常的に茶事やお稽古を開催いたしますので、ご宿泊の皆様にはお気軽にご参加頂けます。

In the courtyard of the building, you can set up a tea room that looks like it is floating above the basin. In the tea room, the Urasenke Tankokai/Tea master and the tea ceremony house of the youth club hold tea ceremonies and lessons on a daily basis, so guests can feel free to join us.

【ギャラリーに人間国宝の作品を展示】

Exhibiting works of living national treasures in the gallery

ギャラリーでは2013年に鳥取県在住者として初めて重要無形文化財（人間国宝）に認定された前田昭博氏の陶器をはじめ、著名な作家の絵画などの美術品をご観覧いただけます。

The gallery features pottery by Maeda Akihiro, who became the first resident of Tottori Prefecture to be designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property (a living national treasure) in 2013, as well as paintings and other works of art by famous artists.
