メリテック、京都大学の小型電動農機プラットフォームの開発に IoTソリューションを導入

本日メリテックのmonoZは、京都大学農学研究科が実施している「（SA1-115G2）自動運転と自動充電による連続的な農作業が可能な小型電動農機プラットフォームの開発」（JPJ011397）の一環として、小型電動農機の監視用にmonoZセルラーIoTソリューションを導入したことを発表します。

本開発により、小型電動農機に取り付けられたGPSユニットとmonoZeroハードウェアが接続されます。monoZeroは、NB-IoTやCAT-M1などのセルラーLPWAを使用して、インターネットを使用しないNon-IP Data Delivery (NIDD) 及び、LwM2M over IPを介してGPSを含む農機の情報をクラウドに送信します。送信された情報はmonoZクラウド（Centra-IoT）のシンプルなダッシュボード上に位置情報などを表示します。

Meritech installs IoT system for a small electric agricultural vehicle developed at Kyoto University

TOKYO, JAPAN on March 24, 2023

Today, Meritech's monoZ is pleased to announce the successful installation of a cellular IoT monitoring system for a small agricultural vehicle developed by Kyoto University's Graduate School of Agriculture under the research project titled, "(SA1-115G2) Development of small electric agricultural vehicle capable of continuous farming by automatic operation and charging “(JPJ011397).

The GPS sensors installed in the electric vehicle are connected to monoZ`s monoZero cellular IoT Gateway. monoZero leverages LPWA networks, such as CAT-M1 & NB-IoT, to transmit the sensor data to the cloud using LwM2M over IP and Non-IP Data Delivery (NIDD) technology, which ensures data security by not using the internet. The data is then tracked and visualized in monoZ's Centra-IoT platform using intuitive dashboards.
