2025大阪関西万博のTEAMEXPOに国際紅白歌合戦がイベント参加

国際紅白歌合戦は、2011年、東日本大震災の後、世界へ復興のメッセージを伝えようと、外国人と日本人の国際交流コミュニティーが中心になり始動。その動きに、外国語メディア、マスメディアなどが加わり、1回目より、NHKの朝の首都圏ニュースで10分以上に渡って、取り上げられ、大きな話題になりました。

その後、毎年、東京オリンピックセンターで開催されていましたが、2013、2014年は大阪、2017、2018年は、フィリピン、インドネシアでも開催されました。

そして、10回目から本拠を大阪に移し、2025年の大阪・関西万博を目指してより多くの人たちに楽しんでもらおうと、大阪関西万博TEAMEXPO共創チャレンジにも登録しました。

TEAMEXPOに参画している『100万人のラジオ体操』や『こどもEXPO』とも連携して活動を広げていますが、今後も想いを一つに出来る人たちと協力しながら、大阪関西万博に訪れる世界中の人たちを'WELCOME’する機運をもっと高めていきたいと思います。

Our TEAMEXPO Co-Creation Challenge is a song event aimed at promoting international exchange and mutual understanding through the act of Japanese people singing in foreign languages and vice versa.

Many foreigners living in Japan and students investing in their futures in Japan are working hard to contribute positively to Japanese society. Through the "International Red and White Singing Festival"（IRWS), we aspire to create a compassionate community with everyone willing to engage. We plan to regularly hold IRWS not only in Indonesia, the Philippines, and other Asian regions but also in Brazil, home to a large Japanese community. We aim to invite outstanding performers from each area to the main venue in Osaka, expanding the stage for international exchange through music worldwide.

IRWS began in 2011 as a response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, aiming to convey a message of recovery to the world. It was initiated by international exchange communities consisting of both foreigners and Japanese. The movement gained attention from foreign language media and mainstream media, notably featured for over 10 minutes on NHK's morning news in the Kanto region from the first edition, becoming a significant topic of discussion.

In subsequent years, the event was held annually at the Tokyo Olympic Center. In 2013 and 2014, it took place in Osaka, and in 2017 and 2018, it extended its reach to the Philippines and Indonesia. 

From the 10th edition onward, the event relocated its base to Osaka, aligning with the goal of contributing to the enjoyment of a broader audience and promoting the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. We have registered with the Osaka-Kansai Expo TEAMEXPO Co-Creation Challenge. Collaborating with Osaka-Kansai Expo's radio calisthenics group and Children's EXPO, we aim to enhance the welcoming atmosphere for people worldwide visiting Osaka during the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025.
